1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GuesTheCity website or mobile app (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

GuesTheCity provides geography games (Guess the City, Daily Challenge, World Tour, Capitals Quiz), city and country guides, a travel blog, an interactive map, and travel planning tools (currency converter, visa checker, budget estimator, and others). Tool results are estimates for general informational purposes only.

3. Accounts

• Creating an account is optional and free. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to register.
• You may delete your account at any time by contacting us; we may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Use of the Services

• You must use the Services only for lawful purposes.
• You may not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or abuse the Services or their underlying API, including circumventing rate limits.
• Progress and scores for signed-out users are stored locally and are not guaranteed to persist across devices or after data is cleared.

5. User-Generated Content

When you submit ratings, tips or other content, you confirm it is your own and lawful, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute it within the Services. We may remove content that is inaccurate, offensive, spammy or infringing.

6. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Content

The Services contain affiliate links to third parties such as Booking.com, GetYourGuide and Skyscanner. We may earn a commission on bookings made through these links at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for the content, pricing, or services provided by third parties.

7. Travel Tools Disclaimer

Tools such as the Visa Checker, Best Time to Visit, Flight Time Calculator and Budget Estimator provide general estimates only and should not be relied upon as official or legal advice. Always verify visa, travel and safety requirements with official government sources before traveling.

8. Advertising

The Services display advertising, including sponsored placements sold directly to advertisers and ads served via Google AdSense (website) and AdMob (app). Ads help keep the Services free. If you wish to advertise with us, separate Advertiser Terms apply.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and code on the Services are owned by GuesTheCity or its licensors, unless otherwise noted. You may not copy or redistribute Service content without permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuesTheCity is not liable for any damages arising from use of the Services, including reliance on travel tool estimates or third-party affiliate bookings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
